In a recent Science/AAAS webinar, Dr. Daniel Turner from the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, UK, and Dr. Kelly Frazer at Scripps Genomic Medicine, USA, discussed the various sample enrichment approaches that they use to target specific regions of interest. Their use of the Agilent SureSelect Target Enrichment System provided exceptional completeness, specificity, coverage uniformity, and reproducibility, and was determined to be well-suited for the enrichment of megabase-scale genomic regions for population sequence studies.
