Synopsis: Recent revelations in microRNA (miRNA) research have implicated these small, non-coding RNA molecules as important contributors to the regulation of gene expression in plants, animals, and viruses. Hui Wang dicusses her work with Agilent Technologies in developing a sensitive miRNA microarray and exploring current questions in miRNA research related to methods for approaching a more quantitative measurement of miRNA expression.
